The 72nd anniversary of the glorious July 23 Revolution

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi also congratulated the Egyptian people on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the glorious July 23 Revolution.

President Sisi delivered a speech on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the glorious July 23 Revolution, the most prominent messages of which were as follows:

I congratulate the Egyptian people and their great army on the anniversary of July 23, which wrote the epic of the unity of the Egyptians towards the elevation of our homeland and added a bright chapter to our contemporary history that carries the highest meanings of sacrifice for the sovereignty of this homeland and the integrity of its lands.

– Memories of immortal days that changed the history of Egypt and the region

– Lessons from the July Revolution and its experience: Never compromise on national independence, preserve the dignity of the homeland and its citizens, and exert maximum effort under all circumstances to promote social justice and protect the most needy groups.

– It has established Egypt's active role in its Arab and African environment and its great contribution to defending the rights and interests of the countries of the South.

Egypt kept pace with the changes of time, opened up to the world, and struggled to improve its economic, investment, urban and industrial capabilities, and integrated into the global trade system.

– Constant focus on protecting the national economy as much as possible from the fluctuations and shocks of the global economy.

Egypt preserved its land, sovereignty and independence and established a peace based on justice and the recovery of land… while firmly and steadfastly adhering to the rights and interests of its brothers, especially the Palestinian brothers.

The current regional and international reality imposes new challenges and complex situations on Egypt and other countries.

These unprecedented circumstances add enormous burdens to Egypt, which can only be alleviated by what I know for certain about the strength of our great people, their resilience in the face of adversity, and their cohesion and unity, like a building whose parts support each other.

Egypt will pass through this turbulent phase regionally and internationally, and will continue its progress, development, and state-building in a way that achieves all of our aspirations for a free, dignified homeland and a bright future for all the people of the country.
